Institutional engagement

Selected institutional work

JRC RegRisk works alongside financial institutions and public-sector stakeholders on financial-crime compliance, digital identity and regulatory technology.

Institutional engagement

Supporting stronger financial-crime infrastructure in Sierra Leone

JRC RegRisk has engaged with Sierra Leone's Financial Intelligence Agency (FIA) around RegTech, financial-crime compliance infrastructure and initiatives designed to strengthen the country's AML/CFT ecosystem.

The engagement concerns regulatory technology and financial-crime compliance infrastructure, including discussions on how digital identity, screening and case management capability can support a stronger national AML/CFT ecosystem.

A National PEP Registry is one of the areas of institutional work and development discussed within this context.

Scope, structure and any implementation remain subject to the relevant institutions.
