Cookie Policy

How JRC RegRisk uses necessary browser technologies on the public website and restricted administration area.

Last updated: 19/10/2026

3.1 Purpose

This Cookie Policy explains how JRC RegRisk uses cookies and similar technologies on the public Website. It should be read together with the Privacy Policy.

3.2 Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files or identifiers stored on or read from a browser or device. Similar technologies may include local storage, pixels, SDKs, tags and comparable mechanisms. They may support security and authentication, remember preferences, measure performance or, where enabled and lawfully consented to, support analytics or marketing.

3.3 Categories

  • Strictly necessary: browser storage used for administrator authentication and session management, and security technologies applied by the website delivery service. These may operate without consent where legally permitted.
  • No analytics or advertising trackers are intentionally configured in the current website application. Optional tracking must be reviewed, disclosed and obtain consent where required before it is introduced.
  • Website fonts are served with the website rather than requested from Google Fonts.

The website does not currently provide a Cookie Preferences panel or an accept/reject cookie banner. Necessary administrator session storage is separate from newsletter consent, which is collected on the newsletter form and confirmed by email.

3.5 Third-party technologies

Cloudflare delivers and protects the website and may process connection and security information. External links, including LinkedIn and official source references, open the relevant third-party website, whose policies then apply. Some articles may include externally hosted media; loading that media can disclose connection information to its provider. Google Fonts is no longer requested by the website.

3.6 Newsletter and email tracking

Resend delivers newsletter confirmations and requested email communications. Operational delivery records may be processed to deliver, secure and troubleshoot those messages. The application does not add individual email-open tracking pixels; any provider-level open or click tracking configuration requires separate verification before a claim is made about its status. Marketing messages include an unsubscribe link.

3.7 Browser controls

Browser settings may also allow users to block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may prevent parts of the Website or secure areas from operating correctly.

3.8 Contact

Questions about cookies or consent choices may be sent to info@jrcregrisk.com.
